Job Description & Summary
At PwC our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs implement software solutions and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.
As a Guidewire developer at PwC you will specialise in developing and customising applications using the Guidewire platform. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration claims management and billing. You will be responsible for designing coding and testing software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organisations.
Growing as a strategic advisor you leverage your influence expertise and network to deliver quality results. You motivate and coach others coming together to solve complex problems. As you increase in autonomy you apply sound judgment recognising when to take action and when to escalate. You are expected to solve through complexity ask thoughtful questions and clearly communicate how things fit together. Responsibilities

What You Must Have
- Minimum of 13 years of quality assurance manual testing planning and executing testing for large complex multi-tier applications.
- Experience in JIRA/Azure Dev Ops/Rally/QC-ALM/SNOW or equivalent tools for Test Case Management and Defect Management.
- Experienced in Agile and scrum methodologies and knowledge of agile tools
- Experience creating test cases defects and other quality assurance work products.
- Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies software testing best practices and quality metrics.
- Familiarity with manual testing tools.
- Must possess a team player attitude.
- Detail-oriented with an emphasis on delivering accurate high-quality assignments and projects.
- Organized and capable of multi-tasking prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent projects or initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills people skills negotiation coordination planning presentation skills facilitation skills.
- Familiarity with the BDD approach and Exploratory testing.
