Tank Car Loader 24 Hour Relief

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Tank Car Loader 24 Hour or a Tank Car Helper on a permanent full-time basis on our Process Operations team at our Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC).

This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina SK.

Note: 24 Hour Shift: 37 1/3 hours over 9-week cycle. Schedule will vary due to this being a relief position.

Our Co-op Refinery Complex processes up to 130000 barrels of crude oil every day distributing up to 17 million liters of fuel every day to Co-op Gas bars and Cardlocks throughout Western Canada. What youll do:

• Perform all duties associated with the loading of petroleum products. Such as gasoline diesel asphalt slurry gas oil propane butane sulphur and other related commodities from general direction provided by the Supervisor.
• Performs housekeeping duties as required.
• Ensures loading activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner relative to Dangerous Goods Regulations safety rules and applicable loading procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Production Trades and Maintenance and:

• Have a good mechanical aptitude an understanding of tank car loading operations and the physical ability to carry out the duties is required.
• Have a Grade 12 diploma.
• Have a valid drivers license.

• A starting wage of $55.33 (Tank Car Loader 24 Hour) or $48.74 (Tank Car Helper) pending on qualifications as per the collective bargaining agreement with UNIFOR Canada local union 594.
