Whats the role
An exciting opportunity is available for a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to complement a world-class engineering team (Data Centre Networks) based in Sydney.
The role is:
- On a max-term contract basis until February 2027
- Project focused and a brilliant opportunity to work on strategic network transformation programs.
- Hybrid working arrangement 2 days office 3 days remote.
What do I need
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills are mandatory.
- Strong ownership mindset and a great attitude.
- Strong technical knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching (BGP OSPF STP NXOS (Nexus) N9K)
- In-depth technical networking experience.
- Prior work experience in large organizations supporting complex networks and network projects.
Highly Desirable:
- Strong technical knowledge in VxLAN EVPN or related overlay technology.
- Good understanding of Automation platforms (Python PyATS Jenkins ROBOT Framework)
- Good understanding of Orchestration platforms (NDFC - Nexus Dashboard/ DCNM - DC Network Manager)
- Vendor certification: CCNP or CCIE.
- Good technical knowledge of Firewalls (Juniper high-end SRX CheckPoint Fortinet NSX)
