How youll contribute

ARadiology Technologistwho excels in this role:

• Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

• Assists physician during procedure functioning as a scrub tech during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures

• Completion of radiographic studies as requested

• Performs radiographic procedures in a competent and knowledgeable manner

• Administers contrast media as required for certain exams with approval of a physician

• Assists physicians in performance of cardiac and vascular studies

• Maintains a safe and orderly environment for self other personnel and patients

• Pursues self-development and assists in orientation and education of employees as required.

• Provides age-appropriate care to all patients.

What were looking for

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology Required

• Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - to be obtained within 6 months

• ARRT registered with WV licensure.

• Completion of basic arrhythmia recognition and interpretation course.
