Job Summary

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Location: Minneapolis MN
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days 5x8 Hours
Shift Time: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Weekly Gross Pay: $3080

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a busy Interventional Radiology department. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IR angiography and special procedures along with solid X-ray imaging skills and electronic charting proficiency.

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience (required)
X-Ray Procedure Experience Required:
- Upper & Lower Extremities
- Abdomen / GI
- Spine / Pelvis
- Head
- Chest / Thorax
IR / Angio / Special Procedures Experience Required:
- Stents and Angioplasty
- Angiograms
- Nephrograms
- Peripheral vascular procedures
- Drainage procedures
- Upper & Lower Extremity studies
- Abdominal and Pelvic procedures
- Genitourinary studies
- Vascular studies
- Venous access procedures
- Neurological studies
Charting Systems: Excellian and/or EPIC experience required

Certifications & Licensure

BLS (AHA required)
ARRT (Radiography)

Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians during interventional and angiographic procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile fields and imaging equipment
Ensure patient safety and radiation protection standards
Perform imaging and documentation per department protocols
Collaborate with physicians nurses and multidisciplinary teams
