Key Responsibilities:
Develop Testing Frameworks: Designs and implements comprehensive testing methodologies to assess product performance and reliability.
Lead Testing Projects: Manages and coordinates testing initiatives collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure timely execution.
Analyze Technical Problems: Evaluates complex issues by integrating multiple data sources to identify root causes and devise effective solutions.
Mentor Engineering Team: Provides guidance and support to junior engineers promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Works with internal and external partners to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Key Skills:
Test Automation & Framework Development: Expertise in designing developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Proficient in tools like NI TestStand and advanced LabVIEW architectures (Actor Framework DQMH).
Programming & Software Development: Proficiency in programming languages such as LabVIEW Python C and MATLAB with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles for creating modular and maintainable software.
System Integration: Skilled in integrating software with hardware components (e.g. sensors like LVDTs pressure transducers actuators) and designing closed-loop control systems including PID control for hydraulic systems and test stands.
Data Acquisition & Signal Processing: Expertise in data acquisition signal filtering ADC and real-time feedback loops using National Instruments hardware for precise monitoring and control.
Advanced Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve issues across software hardware and system integration layers driving continuous improvement and optimization.
Technical Expertise & Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of testing tools methodologies and industry best practices for test system development quality assurance and process standardization.
Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead testing projects from planning to execution ensuring timely delivery adherence to quality standards and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Source Control Management: Proficient in version control tools like Git and TFS for managing code versioning and team collaboration effectively.
Analytical Thinking & Data-Driven Decisions: Strong analytical skills to evaluate test data identify trends and optimize testing strategies for improved results.
Effective Communication & Stakeholder Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and foster collaboration across teams to improve product quality.
Successful candidates typically have:
