CatTheory is established with the ambition to become one of the leading research centers developing the theory of heterogeneous catalysis and electro-catalysis. This includes development of a fundamental understanding of chemical processes at the gas-solid and liquid-solid interface as well as chemical conversion processes with special emphasis on sustainable production of fuels and chemicals. CatTheory is a highly collaborative effort internally within experimental groups at DTU and externally with other leading universities. CatTheory has a strong infrastructure and computational facility.
