Job Summary
Our client a respected mid-size firm in Toronto is seeking a lawyer with 5-7 years of experience in collection enforcement and creditor remedies to join its strong team. This is a rare leadership-oriented and growth opportunity for a lawyer to manage a significant portfolio of creditor-side collection matters.
The successful candidate will manage and advance a portfolio of files provide strategic legal advice to lender clients on debt recovery loan defaults PPSA issues and secured transactions transition matters to firm litigators where necessary and supervise a team.
Experience acting for banks credit unions or private lenders is highly preferred. This lawyer will also have a demonstrated ability to independently manage files strong drafting negotiation and file management skills excellent judgment client service orientation and leadership potential.
