Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the planning execution and supervision of mechanical works in mining infrastructure projects. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in equipment installation industrial systems and site development within a safety-critical and multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing mechanical design drawings and technical specifications.
- Support the installation of equipment piping systems ventilation and other mechanical components.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and construction teams to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Participate in inspections technical documentation and reporting of mechanical works.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (civil electrical environmental) to resolve site-related issues.
- Learn and apply relevant codes and standards for industrial and mining construction.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction projects (preferably in mining or heavy industry).
- Basic understanding of construction methods materials and safety practices.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office; exposure to project management tools is a plus.
- Fluent in English preferred.
