Whats the role

Were looking for a Market Risk Analyst to join our reporting systems data and controls team. Youll help manage and analyse key risk metrics like Value-at-Risk (VaR) stress testing and counterparty credit risk while ensuring our processes meet regulatory standards and support strong risk management.

Youll work across reporting data reconciliation and regulatory oversight contributing to the integrity of our risk systems and helping maintain compliance with prudential standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills technical proficiency and a keen eye for detail.

This is a Permanent Sydney-based role with flexible working arrangements.

What do I need

This role suits someone with a strong foundation in market risk and data analysis.

Heres what will help you succeed:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of financial markets market risk and prudential reporting
  • Experience with data reconciliation and process controls
  • Technical proficiency in Excel; VBA Python R or SQL a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
