Job Summary

E-Logic Movers and Material Handlers are responsible for safely packing labeling transporting and unpacking office materials and IT assets in accordance with SDAs move phasing schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Loading furniture computer monitors and other items onto moving trucks and unloading them at the destination ensuring that all items are moved without damage.
Assist in packing items securely for transport and unpacking them at the new location following established procedures to protect belongings.
Work as part of a team requiring effective communication and coordination to ensure a smooth moving process.
Keeping an accurate inventory of items being moved is crucial to prevent loss or damage during transportation.
Assemble or disassemble furniture as required during the move.
Providing excellent customer service by addressing client queries and ensuring satisfaction throughout the moving process is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Secret Clearance is mandatory.
Must possess the physical strength and stamina to lift heavy items and perform manual labor for extended periods.
Being meticulous in handling items to prevent damage is critical especially to IT equipment.
Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not always necessary; training may be provided.
Understanding and adhering to safety guidelines to prevent injuries and damage to property is essential.
