Job Summary
As an Engineering Manager you will lead a team of skilled SAP ABAP engineers make decisions impacting multi-functional partners and take ownership of teams end-to-end deliverables. You will contribute to code reviews and risk assessments and represent the team and technology in meetings with functional teams and business units. You will clarify requirements and set objectives for multi-functional software projects. You will also plan a multi-year roadmap supervise SAP application development and develop and grow engineers within the team.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
- 12 years of experience building and scaling enterprise-grade SAP systems and applications that meet the demands of high-volume environments.
- 4 years of leadership / management experience demonstrating proven technical leadership and the ability to encourage and guide team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with members across different technical and functional domains
- Strong foundation in software development principles and system architecture
- Understanding of S/4 HANA database tables and data models
- Hands-on programming experience with SAP ABAP RICEFW objects OData/SOAP web services HANA stored procedures AMDP Restful ABAP programming side-by-side extensibility and other SAP modern technologies
- Knowledge of SAP technologies/frameworks such as SAPUI5 Fiori CAP and SAP BTP Services is a plus
- Development experience in ABAP Cloud SAP UI5/Fiori and RAP/CAPM is a plus
- Experience / Exposure building solutions using AI/ML technologies.
- Certifications like ABAP on HANA is a plus.
