Sentar is seeking a Systems Administrator in Pensacola Fl - Saufley Field Operations Center!
Role Description:
As a systems administrator on our team youll perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems and document system events to ensure continuous functionality for a hardened state. Youll coordinate with all applicable application owners program managers and database administrators to initiate corrective actions and help to perform some of the testing of new items including Group Policies Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) Computer Task Orders (CTOs) and security updates. Youll help customers to overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management using tools to automate continuous scanning and highlight misconfigurations as they arise. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network and ensure security posture is maintained. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning and system state. This is an opportunity to gain experience in compliance remediation and scanning to ensure applications and system resources are compliant with DoD hardening.
Qualifications:
Clearance Level: Secret
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certifications: CompTIA Security CE or similar IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification
Experience:
Two years of related experience
Experience with ACAS
Experience with STIGs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to configure systems and hardware for compliance standards
- Ability to interpret technical assessments and communicate security issues to program leadership
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
