Job Description:
The Role
We are looking for a Business Acceptance Tester with extensive professional experience in business process validation cross-function collaboration and end-to-end testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business operations and the ability to translate requirements into actionable test scenarios who will be responsible for primarily focusing on business acceptance testing and functional testing of new applications and upgrades to existing applications. You will be able to flex if other business needs arise can pivot quickly in a face paced environment.
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelors or equivalent experience
- Systems testing and business process testing experience required
- Experience with functional testing of business applications
- 3 years of experience in an Business Analysis Data Analyst or Functional Testing Role
- Self-starter and excellent team member who is independent collaborative and take initiative
- Extended hours may be required during fund launches system changes as well as during peak cycles (month-end year-end tax season etc)
The Skills You Bring
- You can lead all testing validation and user acceptance of new features and upgrades.
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing for vendor applications.
- You have solid project management skills; intermediate to advance proficiency of Microsoft Office applications.
- You think analytically are intellectually curious have excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate successfully with multiples levels internally and externally to the organization
- You work well on teams and in cross-collaborative environments internally and externally
- You adopt an Agile way of work through continuous improvement learning and sharing with a focus on the associate and client experience
- You become comfortable with ambiguity and consistently find a path through it
The Team
We are an expanding team here at Fidelity servicing the suite of Alternative Investment products that have been created and launched by Fidelity. This new space offers Fidelity a new asset class previously unexplored by current day Fidelity funds (ETFs Mutual Funds). In the AI Investor Relations space we use a variety of applications including SS&C applications one of our 3rd party vendors. We are a fast paced team and that has to be adaptable to change.
