Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Mammography Technologist to join our Houston team. This leadership position combines hands-on patient care with supervisory responsibilities ensuring the highest quality imaging services and guiding a team of mammography technologists. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about breast health and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography exams in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to the mammography team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Maintain equipment and quality control standards for optimal imaging performance.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ACLS).
- Current Texas Medical Board license (MRT) or temporary license.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R).
- Proven senior-level or leadership experience in mammography technology.
- Strong communication organizational and team leadership skills.
