About the Opportunity:
Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is recruiting on behalf of a global innovator in aerospace and motion control technology. Were seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on space systems and advanced defense hardware.
This is a pivotal role for a quality professional who thrives in hands-on manufacturing environments ensuring precision compliance and reliability across highly engineered electronic assemblies. The position offers direct impact on product excellence and mission readiness within the space and defense sector.
What Youll Do:

Develop and implement proactive quality methodologies to detect and eliminate defects early in the process.

Lead Failure Review Board (FRB) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities managing root cause and corrective actions (RCCA).

Prepare and validate End Item Data Packages (EIDP) for customer review and final product delivery.
-
Collaborate with design test and production teams to integrate quality standards into new product development.

Conduct supplier assessments audits and continuous improvement reviews.
-
Support AS9100 compliance and external audit readiness.

Drive continuous improvement through Lean / Six Sigma initiatives and data-driven process optimization.
What Youll Bring:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical field).

5 years of Quality Engineering experience within aerospace defense or space manufacturing.

Hands-on experience with electronic/electrical components hardware and test environments.
-
Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 J-STD and NASA quality standards.

Experience with TIPQA or similar quality management software.

Strong ability to interpret technical drawings lead audits and interface with cross-functional teams.
-
U.S. Citizenship required due to export control regulations.
