The Role
Were hiring a Night Shift Application Support Engineer for our Digital Assets HFT Trading & Execution desk in Singapore. This on-site role requires you to be based in Singapore covering night shifts to monitor and optimize trading systems during global crypto hours. Youll partner with quant traders to ensure 24/7 uptime resolve issues in real-time and alert on threats/opportunities like network latencies or arbitrage windows.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor blockchain nodes trading pipelines and metrics (e.g. latency gas fees) for peak performance during night shifts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve real-time issues with traders from API failures to order disruptions.
- Alert on threats (e.g. oracle delays) and opportunities (e.g. market shifts) via automated tools.
- Develop Python scripts for automation alerting and recovery in HFT workflows.
- Perform root cause analysis and document incidents for process improvements.
What Were Looking For
- Experience: 1-3 years in app support within a trading desk with good understanding of trading operations.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Python scripting/automation; Linux/Unix familiarity.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana) and containers (e.g. Docker).
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of HFT crypto markets DeFi or trading ops.
- Requirements: Based in Singapore; available for night shifts.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving under pressure; clear communication; proactive mindset.
