Wheels Up is looking for a world-class Fleet Team Manager in Atlanta GA to join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals fueled by the most powerful brand in private aviation as we continue our mission of democratizing the private aviation space through cutting-edge technology and innovative product and service offerings.
Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Has full authority in the maintenance oversight within the fleet.
- Supports the maintenance controllers by ensuring required resources are available to include getting OEM technical support engineering support and helping to procure parts that are not available.
- Ensures controllers are executing proper AOG set ups updates and management of events.
- Empowers controllers to make decisions and provides constructive coaching when needed.
- Monitors fleet RTS extensions and works to mitigate impact to the operation.
- Assists the GM MxC with department strategy in attempt to meet and exceed company maintenance availability (MA) targets.
- Ensures deferrals are cleared in a timely manner.
- Responds to operational business requests that help meet member needs.
- Attends RCB meetings for potential input and to take information back to the front-line teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements
Were looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience skills and passion for what we do:
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate required.
- 4 years experience working with one or some of the following corporate type aircraft: Cessna Citation series jets: Citation X Beechcraft King Air series turboprops Challenger 350 Phenom 300 Gulfstream G4 Dassault Falcon in a Part 135 or Part 145 environment.
- Knowledgeable in FAR Part 135 aviation maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with aviation maintenance tracking programs (Ex.: CAMP).

At Wheels Up we believe in fair compensation based on experience skills and qualifications. The salary for this role starts at $86000. Depending on a variety of factors we dont typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program which rewards individual and organizational performance.
