Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department.
Weekly Hours Scheduled: 36

Education:
High School Diploma
or Equivalent
Requirements:
EMT-B with state or national certification at time of hire OR
Successful completion of US Military Hospital Corps School qualified MMAC candidates OR
Current student enrolled in clinical program (e.g. RN LPN Respiratory Physical Therapy) having completed at least one semester within the program.
As a Patient Care Technicianwith Sentara you will have the opportunity to learn many new skills. From taking vitals to blood draws and daily care. The primary duties of this position include supporting the admission/discharge process changing bathing ambulating patients drawing blood foley catheter care meeting patient needs while working under the direct supervision of a nurse.
