Compensation:$2500 per school taught

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiasticAfter-School Band Teacherto lead Grade 5 students in developing their instrumental skills ensemble performance and love of music at our four elementary schools. This program provides students with the opportunity to rehearse and perform together in a supportive and structured after-school environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate band lessons for 5th grade students.
- Provide group instruction on instrumental technique ensemble playing creativity and music literacy.
- Foster an inclusive supportive learning environment that encourages participation and growth.
- Plan and prepare students for two recitals during the school year.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Music Education or related field preferred.
- Valid teaching certification in music (preferred but not required).
- Experience teaching band or instrumental music to elementary or middle school students.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Passion for music education and ability to inspire young musicians.
Compensation
Teachers will be compensated at$2500 per school taught.
