Purpose:

Contributes to the overall success of Distribution Services in Global Operations in Canada ensuring specific individual goals plans initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the teams business strategies andobjectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations internal policies and procedures.

Is this role right for you In this role you will:

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships systems and knowledge.

Accountable for the accurate and efficient delivery and pick up of mail from both internal partners/employees and external courier companies (as required).

Ensuring timely and accurate distribution of mail packages. Will be required to perform mail runs to deliver packages to various locations within the organization

Accountable for the accurate sorting and accurately preparing packages for mail scanners ensuring items are categorized correctly and ready for processing.

Maintain accurate records of mail package deliveries using available technology capturing signatures for delivery confirmation to ensure accountability.

Maintain and organize storage areas to maximize efficiency and accessibility. Insuring inventory management records is accurate at all times.

Assist the overall department with functions and tasks during downtime while participating in cross-training activities within Distribution Services to ensure flexibility and coverage.

Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabanks Values its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles while ensuring the adequacy

adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational compliance AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role Wed love to work with you if you have:

Highschool Diploma

Proficient use of PC and Microsoft Office

Knowledge of mail tracking technologies

Work Arrangement:

Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Moderate to extensive walking required to deliver packages.

The hours of operation for this role are between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
