Procurement Associate

This position will be responsible for management of purchasing and procurement activities including namely consolidation of requirements bidding negotiations and supplier performance tracking.

Position:

• Manages local procurement and purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials and services aligned with market or factory needs. Ensures proper documentation and adherence to procurement policies and procedures
• Handles vendor performance issues and supports the Payment Team with procurement-related payments and closing documents
• Manages supplier base maintains communication and shares performance feedback with vendors and internal stakeholders to drive improvement
• Ensures compliance with procurement policies code of conduct local regulations and audit/JSOX requirements
• Supports sourcing activities including requirement identification bidding negotiation and setting commercial terms to achieve optimal quality cost and service. Takes on additional tasks and projects as needed
• Delivers savings targets and develops strategic sourcing plans
• Leads or supports supplier bidding with business partners to secure the best value
• Builds strong customer-oriented relationships with stakeholders to demonstrate procurements business impact

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance Business Engineering or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus
• 23 years of experience in a similar role
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical skills related to purchasing and procurement
• Solid negotiation communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office is a plus
