Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities

• Plan deliver and assess engaging and challenging lessons for Year 5 pupils
• Create a positive classroom culture where all children feel safe motivated and inspired to learn
• Use formative and summative assessments to track progress and inform teaching
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils including those with additional needs
• Work collaboratively with colleagues support staff and parents to enhance pupil outcomes
• Contribute to the wider life of the school including clubs events and enrichment activities

Year 5 Teacher Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 ideally Year 5

• A reflective practitioner with a passion for high-quality teaching and learning
