Greasby Junior School part of the Oak Trees Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a caring committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our supportive and inclusive team.

This is a rewarding and varied role supporting teaching and learning across the school day and making a real difference to pupils access independence and wellbeing.

About the role

The successful candidate will:

Work as a whole-class Teaching Assistant in the mornings supporting teaching and learning alongside the class teacher

Deliver and support small-group interventions helping pupils to make progress and engage confidently in their learning

Provide 1:1 support in the afternoons for a pupil with mobility needs including:

Supporting safe movement around the school environment

Enabling access to the curriculum through technology adaptations and reasonable adjustments

Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to promote inclusion and independence

This post is temporary reflecting the current needs of pupils.

We are looking for someone who:

Is passionate about supporting childrens learning wellbeing and inclusion

Is patient flexible and nurturing with a calm and positive approach

Works effectively as part of a team and communicates well with both adults and children

Has experience in a school setting (experience supporting mobility needs or assistive technology is desirable but not essential as training will be provided)
