Tax and Trust Planning LAA
Our client a well-established law firm in Vancouver is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join their Tax and Trust Planning team. The firm specializes in estate administration trust and estate planning tax planning and estate/tax litigation. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a team of lawyers in a collaborative professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Maintaining all administrative functions of the practice
- Conducting corporate land title and conflict searches
- Organizing and maintaining both electronic and physical files including file openings and closings
- Managing calendars and maintaining a BF system
- Assisting with accounting and billing time entry
- Communicating with clients in a professional and timely manner
Attributes and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of corporate LAA experience
- Strong client-service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Advanced technical and word processing skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment maintain confidentiality and handle a high level of responsibility
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- A self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and the drive to exceed expectations
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $60000 $68000 (commensurate with experience skills and qualifications)
- Comprehensive healthcare benefits package
- Paid sick and personal days
- Two days work from home after probation
This is a full-time permanent position based in Vancouver.
