Role Overview

The Senior Technology Architect will be responsible for leading the design integration and operationalization of Azure and AWS cloud services within a large enterprise or government environment. The role focuses on developing cloud product roadmaps governance frameworks automation plans and documentation that align with enterprise standards and security requirements.

This position requires a highly experienced professional with deep expertise in cloud architecture product enablement governance and compliance as well as strong collaboration and communication skills to work across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop business cases executive materials and product roadmaps to support decision-making and cloud investment planning.
• Lead the integration configuration and operationalization of Azure and AWS services (IaaS PaaS SaaS) in alignment with enterprise IT standards and governance frameworks.
• Implement management and governance tools such as Microsoft Entra ID Azure Monitor and AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Design and maintain implementation playbooks onboarding frameworks and operational runbooks to guide the secure adoption of cloud services.
• Create and maintain architecture and design artifacts including solution diagrams configuration blueprints and decision records.
• Develop and document governance and compliance alignment reports ensuring adherence to OPS governance data sovereignty and identity management policies.
• Collaborate with solution and platform architects to deliver automation and optimization plans that improve cost efficiency and reliability.
• Produce knowledge transfer and training materials for operational teams.
• Prepare roadmap and progress reports summarizing milestones risks dependencies and overall product enablement status for Azure and AWS services.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience operationalizing Azure and AWS cloud services (IaaS PaaS SaaS) in complex enterprise or government environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud governance identity management and data sovereignty (e.g. Microsoft Entra ID AWS IAM).
• Experience with data and analytics platforms such as Microsoft Fabric Azure Data Factory and AWS RDS along with related management and monitoring tools.
• Proven ability to collaborate with architects engineers and product managers to translate cloud strategies into actionable operational outcomes.
• Deep understanding of cloud automation architecture design principles and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to produce clear technical documents and executive-level materials.
