Summary:

The Structures Company is seeking a dynamic detail-oriented and highly motivated Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) with prior experience administering U.S. government security policies and procedures.

This is a fully remote opportunity ideal for candidates with a background in defense government contracting or industrial security. Recent military transitions are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Support the daily operations of the facilitys security program ensuring compliance with DoD DCSA and 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM requirements.
Safeguard classified information and maintain personnel security records.
Assist with personnel clearances employee briefings visit requests and SCI account management via DISS.
Provide expertise and guidance on security administrative functions and maintain awareness of changing regulations.
Perform administrative duties including scheduling organizing files assigning training and coordinating meetings.

Required Skills & Qualities

Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret post-start (Top Secret preferred).
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2 years of related security or administrative experience.
FSO certification (for a non-possessing facility) preferred but may be obtained post-start.
High integrity sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills.
Proactive adaptable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel) and Outlook.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
