Our client is a leading financial services company in Vietnam who is looking for experienced talent to join their firm.
1. Strategic Leadership & Advisory
Strategy Definition: Define communicate and execute the enterprise-wide data science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy ensuring direct alignment with the overall corporate and business priorities.
Executive Consulting: Serve as a key advisor to C-level executives identifying and recommending high-impact opportunities to leverage advanced data analytics for tangible business growth proactive risk mitigation and optimization of operational efficiency.
2. Model Innovation & Lifecycle Management
High-Value Execution: Lead and execute high-value AI and Machine Learning (ML) initiatives across the organization.
Development & Deployment: Oversee the entire lifecycle of predictive models including their design development rigorous validation and production deployment. This covers critical domains such as credit scoring fraud detection risk forecasting customer segmentation and personalized marketing.
Governance Oversight: Institute and manage the governance framework for all analytical models to guarantee accuracy regulatory compliance and long-term sustainability.
3. Data Infrastructure & Architecture
Technical Collaboration: Collaborate closely with IT and Data Engineering teams to design and implement robust scalable data platforms efficient data pipelines and the requisite AI/ML infrastructure (e.g. cloud environments real-time analytics capabilities and data lakes).
Data Integrity: Ensure the highest standards of data quality integrity and accessibility are maintained consistently across the enterprise.

Stakeholder Alignment: Act as a critical business partner working directly with operational units to identify impactful use cases and deliver solutions that generate measurable business value.
Actionable Insights: Translate complex analytical findings and machine learning insights into clear concise and actionable recommendations for senior business stakeholders.
6. People & Culture Management
Team Leadership: Provide the necessary executive leadership and direction to enable all direct and indirect reports to successfully achieve the goals of the AI function and the Company.
Resource Planning: Manage headcount planning and effective resource allocation. Partner with the Human Resources department to develop comprehensive strategies for recruitment training succession planning career roadmaps employee recognition and performance management.
Cultural Stewardship: Act as a role model in fostering the desired corporate culture. Ensure employees fully understand and consistently apply the Companys cultural values and behavioral standards.
Requirements
Educational Background
Professional Expertise
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in data science or advanced analytics including at least 5 years in a formal leadership or management role.
Production Track Record: A proven history of successfully building deploying and managing advanced machine learning and AI models in large-scale production-level environments.
Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in statistical modeling machine learning deep learning natural language processing (NLP) and large-scale big data technologies.
Skills and Competencies
Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in core programming languages (Python R SQL). Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Spark Hadoop) and major cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) is essential.
Executive Leadership: Exceptional leadership stakeholder management and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively influence and present to the executive level.
