ATCO Frontec is seeking Red Seal Journeyman Plumbers/Gasfitter Bto join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Calgary AB.

The Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter is responsible for maintenance modifications and installation/dismantling of plumbing systems throughout our construction projects.

The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required. Tools uniforms PPE are provided.

Responsibilities:

Conduct timely inspections testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects and deficiencies
Running drain lines plumbing lines and Gas lines as well as installation of all plumbing related equipment.
Installation of Boilers hot-water tanks and furnaces.
Replace valves and actuators
Contribute input for planned and scheduled work and assist with completing the committed schedule
Aid in scoping estimating planning and executing new work or projects
Ensure all installations repairs and maintenance are properly sized aligned supported and graded
Guarantee all installations repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes.

Qualifications:

Journeyman Plumber Certificate and Red Seal with a minimum of 3 years experience is required
Class A Gas Fitter is preferred.
Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required
Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test Fit-to-Work Test and Extensive Background Check.
Must be able to obtain Government Security Clearance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to read drawings and blueprints
Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety
Willing to travel
