Join our Discovery Platform Chembio materials team at P&G where we are committed to advancing the science of novel surfactants through the EU program SurfToGreen. This multi-year initiative focuses on developing innovative surfactants that enhance encapsulation processes.


As a key member of our team you will support the execution of strategies related to the SurfToGreen program. This role will involve the development and implementation of new ideas techniques procedures and products in the Biosciences field guided by experienced team members. Your contributions will focus on clearly defined objectives within the realm of biosciences.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO P&GS SUCCESS:

  • Assist in executing team and organizational strategies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of innovative ideas and techniques under supervision.
  • Focus on specific tasks within the Biosciences field with well-defined goals.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team to maximize impact and enhance personal growth.
  • Operate under direct supervision adhering to established precedents and policies.
  • Provide timely reports to the EU project stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

YOU ARE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU ARE/HAVE:

  • A PhD in Biosciences Biochemistry or a related field with a strong technical understanding of bioactives. familiarity with confocal light-scattering and SAX/WAX techniques is a plus.

  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken;

  • A passion for in-depth lab research; you will spend a significant portion of your time in the lab similar to your PhD experience.

  • Demonstrable laboratory experience and a willingness to engage in hands-on work (approximately 50-75% of your time).

  • An openness to uncertainty and a resilient attitude toward the challenges inherent in upstream research.

  • A solid understanding of biological processes and techniques; knowledge of ligno- or cellulosic-based actives is highly valued.

  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.

  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

  • Effective communication skills for both internal P&G interactions and external collaborations particularly within the context of EU funding requirements.

  • A focus on Intellectual Property contributing to the development of new IP opportunities for P&G.
