Job Title: Counter Sales Representative - Electrical
Reports to: Branch Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary:
The Counter Sales Representative will support walk-in customers with electrical products special orders and will be responsible for processing transactions maintaining counter inventory levels and ensuring accurate product pick-up.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them in identifying their electrical needs.
Provide product recommendations and technical assistance to customers based on their requirements.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
Stock shelves and replenish inventory as needed to ensure adequate product availability.
Answer customer inquiries via phone email or in person and provide information regarding product pricing availability and specifications.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to fulfill customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner striving to achieve customer satisfaction.
Assist with special promotions events and marketing initiatives as needed.
Follow company policies and procedures including safety protocols and cash handling guidelines.
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in electrical and/or electrical sales.
Proven experience in retail sales preferably in a electrical or home improvement environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical products and accessories.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
Proficiency in using computerized point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work holidays as required.
Physical Requirements:
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects bend stoop and stand or extended periods.
Positive attitude willingness to learn and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
