Requirements of the Financial Eligibility and Reimbursement Coordinator

Bachelors degree with applicable experience in Health related Field (Preferred)
Must have a drivers license reliable transportation and car insurance
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations (Required)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for coordination of Medicaid (MA) and Medicare benefits with participants families and governing agencies.
Maintain current electronic case management records including annual MA recertifications Skilled Nursing Facility day 31 submissions and invoicing.
Complete documentation of all visits (including episodic routine phone calls home visits etc.) against the corresponding care plan elements.
Communicate participant changes to team members.
Provide administrative assistance (applications forms etc.)/community resources to participants as needed.
Assist participants in successful completion of the medical assistance recertification application including submission of all relevant documentation within required timeframes to maintain financial eligibility for Senior LIFE.
Keep the participant and family updated about the participants MA eligibility Medicare application stats and any changes with the participants financial status.
