Junior Logistics Analyst
Role Overview

The role reports directly
to the Head of Logistics- Namanve Volcafe Ltd is one of the worlds leading international green coffee trading companies operating in over 20 countries globally. Our expertise spans green coffee procurement and preparation sustainability blending quality control risk management and export as well as importing and distribution. We supply the worlds major coffee roasters and retail distributors with their green coffee requirements with significant strategic growth ambitions for the future.
We are part of ED&F Man Commodities a world leading trader of agricultural products including coffee sugar molasses and animal feed.
Volcafe works across the whole green coffee supply chain to make coffee business better together with our partners and employees. We have built and operate sustainable coffee supply chains across all our origins addressing key economic social and environmental issues in coffee farming communities. Our Volcafe Way farmer support program engages with thousands of coffee farmers and provides a holistic response to the challenges they face.
This role will be working for Kyagalanyi Coffee Limited Vol cafes company in Uganda
Key Accountabilities
1. Contract Execution & Performance Monitoring
o Ensure timely and accurate execution of assigned contracts continuously
measuring and monitoring performance to deliver exceptional service to customers
and minimize the cash cycle. Proactively seek clarity on actions and their underlying
rationale.
2. Team Collaboration & Learning
o Demonstrate a proactive curious and collaborative approach to work. Engage with
senior team members and cross-functional departments to understand priorities
improve performance and meet departmental KPIs.
3. Cost Tracking & Reporting
o Maintain clear and accurate records of all costs related to shipments. Support the
Head of Logistics in controlling and reporting logistics-related expenditures.

4. Customer & Stakeholder Communication
o Provide consistent timely and accurate updates to internal and external
stakeholders regarding shipment status. Respond to customer needs within
contractual boundaries and as directed by the Head of Logistics.
5. Data Management & Quality Assurance
o Ensure high-quality data entry and real-time updates in shared systems and folders.
Maintain organized and accessible records to support operational transparency and
decision-making.
6. Support to Head of Logistics
o Collaborate effectively on any additional tasks or projects assigned by the Head of
Logistics to help achieve departmental goals and strategic objectives.
Requirements
Skills and Experience
Graduate degree holder in Engineering Economics Logistics or Administration or
related field desired; No need from previous logistics experience the correct attitude
humility communication team play and demonstration of interest are the major
determinants to select the desired candidate.
Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to fine detail.
Good Microsoft Teams Word and Excel are a plus desired. Microsoft Lists experience desired
