As Engineering Coordinator youll manage the planning administration and communication that support our engineering operations. From maintenance scheduling and spare part tracking to compliance documentation and contractor coordination youll be the link that connects the team and keeps everything moving.
This is a central support role for someone who thrives on structure process and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Support and Planning
Schedule preventative maintenance and coordinate engineer workloads
Track outstanding work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
Support the Engineering Manager with resource planning KPIs and priorities
Inventory and Spare Parts
Monitor engineering stock levels and reorder critical parts as required
Maintain accurate records of parts usage orders and deliveries
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely availability of components
Documentation and Compliance
Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance logs equipment histories and service reports
Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits
Track compliance with safety protocols and inspection schedules
Contractor and External Coordination
Support the booking onboarding and supervision of engineering contractors
Ensure contractors meet site health and safety and compliance requirements
Requirements
Experience in engineering admin maintenance coordination or technical planning
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good working knowledge of Excel stock systems and CMMS or maintenance software
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment
Clear communication skills and ability to liaise with both engineers and suppliers
