Patient Tech - PCT Prep / PACU

Full time Evening Shift 40 hours

-3pm - 11:30pm

The Johns Hopkins Hospitals Zayed 3 Preoperative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (Prep/PACU)is a 43-bed unit that provides services to patients undergoing surgery and interventional radiology procedures such as cervical decompression fixation/fusion open reduction internal fixation microvascular decompression kidney transplant craniectomy cerebral arteriogram Intercranial embolization and trans arterial chemoembolization. Our unit supports the care provided in 14 operating rooms 8 interventional radiology rooms and 2 CT team is comprised of autonomous highly engaged and expert professionals who are dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care and the ultimate experience to our patients!

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
• One year of clinical experience e.g. home care outpatient acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.41/hour - Maximum 27.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
