Royersford Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Credentialed Veterinary Technicianto our team.

Our hospital is built for efficiency which makes our talented team well equipped to provide the highest quality individualized veterinary care and attention to each addition to annual care emergency cases and surgical and dental procedures we also offer medical diagnostic services including in-house bloodwork urinalysis fecal evaluations EKG blood pressure ultrasound and digital radiography.Were excited to be expanding our facility so that we can provide care to even more pets. WHAT YOULL DO

Executing treatment orders
Assisting in appointments
Performing blood draws
Collecting urine samples void express cystocentesis
Administering medications PO IM SQ SL IV
Keeping cages clean and sanitized
Walking feeding and picking up after the animals
Various housekeeping duties (laundry dishes taking out garbage etc.)
Calculating medications mg/kg
Creating a dosing schedule from the DVM orders
Communicating with clients via phone and in-person
Taking Radiographs CBC Chem LYTES Perform and read urinalysis
Restraining animals
Outpatient procedures
Filling prescribed medications

REQUIREMENTS

2 plus years veterinary experience or education
Veterinary Technician certification or eligible required
Team-oriented
Ability to multi-task
Ability to lift 50 pounds
