Job Summary

Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials equipment and services for production projects and operations.
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with business objectives and manufacturing requirements.
Identify evaluate and onboard reliable suppliers and contractors while maintaining a robust vendor database.
Negotiate contracts terms and pricing agreements to secure optimal commercial and technical outcomes for the company.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to ensure adherence to quality delivery and compliance standards.
Collaborate closely with Production Projects Finance and Sales teams to forecast material requirements and prevent production delays.
Monitor market trends pricing fluctuations and supply chain risks to proactively manage procurement challenges.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies ethical standards and statutory regulations.
Oversee the preparation and review of purchase orders bid analyses and procurement reports for management decision-making.
Work within the ERP system to track purchase requisitions purchase orders deliveries and vendor performance metrics.
Participate in the formulation and review of procurement budgets cost-saving initiatives and supplier development programs.
Perform other related functions as assigned to support operational efficiency and strategic business goals.

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing
Strong communication negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent customer management skills
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite Software (Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook)
Ability to transmit information effectively i.e. in clear unambiguous terms to customers and distributors.
Ability to write reports in clear terms using a mixture of words charts graphs etc.
