The Artificial Intelligence Alpha Group (AAG) is a newly formed AI-native investment team building and applying advanced AI technologies to deliver superior investment performance. We are a collaborative and cross-functional team of investors data scientists and technologists using AI to reimagine fundamental investing.

What impact can you make in this role

We are seeking a Business Manager who will play a pivotal role in building the foundations of AAG helping the team scale from inception into an end-to-end AI-driven investment will operate as a strategic enabler working closely with the team leadership to drive outcomes across investment operations project management and team administration. You will be part of a small fast-moving team in which you will coordinate investment workflows run AI projects and build dashboards. On top of ensuring that the team runs smoothly you will have direct and immediate impact on how the team shapes AI-powered is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of investing technology and innovation and to have a chance to define what investment excellence looks like in the era of AI.

What will you do in this role

Lead Investment Operations

• Coordinate AAGs investment portfolio activities including helping with performance reporting overseeing portfolio movements and creating and monitoring investment dashboards.
• Work with GICs back and middle office teams to ensure seamless trade execution settlement and reconciliation.
• Build and maintain structured high-quality portfolio data and reports that support agile decision-making.
• Monitor investment compliance cash positions and reconciliations to ensure operational integrity.
• Assist with the preparation of management materials presentations and performance updates.

Manage and Accelerate Projects

• Support the teams leadership in tracking AAGs strategic and technical initiatives ensuring progress across defined milestones and deliverables.
• Document and follow through on key discussions action items and decisions to drive accountability.
• Help shape and maintain project documentation system onboarding materials and reporting templates that will serve as the foundation for future scaling.
• Coordinate internal workflows spanning data systems and process implementation across investment and technology teams.

Manage Team Administration Needs

• Support calendar and meeting coordination
• Support business trip planning
• Manage team training travel subscriptions and welfare budgets

What qualifications skills and traits should you possess in this role

• Bachelors degree preferred with 58 years of experience in business management investment operations consulting or technology program management.
• Background in investment management banking or corporate finance is an advantage.
• Intellectually curious with a strong interest in artificial intelligence and its applications in investing.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a strong bias for action and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with data and systems; proficient in Microsoft Office and eager to learn internal portfolio tools and dashboards.
• Strong communicator and able to work effectively with senior stakeholders across investment data and operations teams.
• Reliable discreet and self-driven with a problem-solving mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
