We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Consultant to join our Transaction Strategy and Execution team based in our Copenhagen office. The ideal candidate possesses a background in M&A strategy/execution (both pre- and post-deal) and experience in the operational aspects of M&A which should include experience client-facing or in-house engagements in one or more of the following areas:

• Post-merger integration and/or carve-out assistance
• Operations due diligence
• Operational value creation
• Deal strategy including synergies
• Technology (product) and/or IT due diligence

As a Senior Consultant in the team you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional client service in often complex M&A engagements as well as coaching and developing more junior members of the team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about M&A execution cares about the development of the team and can effectively build relationships with clients and peers.

Your key responsibilities

• Contribute to a variety of pre- and post-deal engagements including due diligence deal strategy/synergies operational value creation and be able to lead workstreams as part of integrations or carve-outs
• Assist in aspects of business origination including preparation/support for pitches and presentations
• Work in a fast-paced exciting environment with strong business acumen to really help add value to our clients
• Learn and develop technical and personal skills to support achievement of career goals through a blend of structured learning coaching and experiences
• Contribute to our practice development initiatives supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work
• Act as a role model and support development of junior team members supporting our focus on keeping the team a great place to work and grow

• Experience of delivering high-quality reports and presentations
• Strong team participation skills particularly teams with diverse skills and backgrounds coupled with the ability to coach and mentor juniors
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
• Professionalism and consistency in approach to client work internal business and practice development projects
