Position Overview

Not only do you have years of construction experience under your belt but your knowledge of natural gas infrastructure is second to none. Safety for yourself and your peers is always your top priority and all of your operations decisions are focused on safeguarding the well-being of everyone around you. If this sounds like you youll be a great fit as our Operations Supervisor.

In this role youll oversee our Metro Vancouver region construction employees and activities maintaining the safety of your teams and the integrity of assets and equipment in your area.

In year 1 you will:

  • Familiarize yourself with the software and applications used to schedule and complete deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Champion our safety culture to safeguard against accidents and injuries.

In year 2 you will:

  • Expand your knowledge of resource and administrative budgets.
  • Develop relationships with external stakeholders and municipal contacts.
  • Partner with peers and internal stakeholders in developing strategic initiatives to drive operational exc

What it takes:

  • Five years of management experience with a focus on natural gas infrastructure. Post secondary diploma considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in construction underground utilities and emergency response is an asset.
  • A passion for developing quality solutions with a safety-focused mindset.
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach to strengthening connections in the workplace.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite such as Word Excel etc.
