Power App Developers (Power Apps & Power BI)

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
A Power Apps Developer is responsible for designing developing and deploying custom applications using the Microsoft PowerApps platform to enhance business processes and efficiency.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
Application Development: Design and build custom applications using Microsoft PowerApps to meet specific business needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements translating them into functional applications.
User Interface Design: Create intuitive user interfaces and user experiences within PowerApps to ensure ease of use.
Integration: Integrate PowerApps solutions with other Microsoft services (like Power Automate Power BI and SharePoint) and third-party platforms.
Maintenance and Support: Maintain and support existing PowerApps applications conducting testing troubleshooting and performance tuning as necessary.
Documentation: Document application development processes including design specifications and user guides.
Training: Provide training and support to end-users on newly developed PowerApps solutions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background: A bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a PowerApps Developer or in a similar role with a strong understanding of Microsoft PowerApps and its components.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power Apps development including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps as well as experience with Power Automate and Power BI.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Additional Qualifications:
Familiarity with SQL relational databases and data integration.
Knowledge of application lifecycle management and version control.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Apps Developer Associate can be beneficial.
