About the role.

The Training Facilitator will provide support successful implementation of training programs that support both Plants at Coaldale. They will also develop training materials and documentation support with delivery of annual training and refreshers and are accountable for key tracking and delivery of training and assist the Training Manger and Training Department as needed.

What youll be doing.

• Keeps all stakeholders informed of training programs.
• Creates and maintains training materials including but not limited to training manuals SOPs JSAs one-point lessons checklists tests reviews etc. for the support and delivery training initiatives and/or programs that are determined and assigned by the Training Manager based on plant needs (i.e. NHO Refresher Training E-Learnings etc.)
• Evaluates the progress of training and analyzes the effectiveness of training procedures and training materials.
• Drafts completes records and maintains all training documentation and records in professional legible and timely manner.
• Administration of all E-Learnings for both Plants and will track and follow up with assigned learnings as well as report outcomes.
• Treats people with respect follows-up on commitments and strives to uphold organizational values.
• Actively looks and seeks out areas of improvement with the training process.
• Maintains the confidentiality of trainees trainers supervisors and managers.
• Able to speak clearly in front of large groups and deliver training in an effective manner.
• Able to write clearly and informatively and able to read and interpret written information.
• Use time efficiently by prioritizing and planning required work activities.
• Communicate any problems or changes in working environment to appropriate personnel.
• Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process to ensure a quality operation.
• Performs assigned tasks in a manner that does not endanger the environment and adhere to company and regulatory standards.
• Promotes and adheres to company safety regulations.
• Wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Additional duties as assigned.

What youll need to be successful.

Associated diploma degree and/or technical certification with prior leadership experience is preferred. Twelve months related experience and/or some combination of college or technical courses and experience. Demonstrated Training experience would be an asset.

Required Training.

• McCain Safety Training
• Annual HACCP Training
• Annual GMP Training
• Train the Trainer
• Other Training as required

Language Skills.

Must have the ability to write clear and concise correspondence and routine reports. Effectively present and train and provide information in one-on-one and group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills.

Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio percentage and draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability.

Ability to apply a reasonable person understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Qualifications.

• Required to obtain and maintain a factory issued power industrial vehicle (PIV) license for any and/or all classifications would be an asset:
  • Valid forklift operators license.
  • Valid telehandler operators license.
  • Valid aerial lift operators license.

Other Abilities.

• Attends work consistently and on time. Ensures that responsibilities are covered when absent.
• Able to multi-task manage competing demands and adapt to changes in the work environment.

• Intermediate computer skills experience with SAP preferred.
• Power Industrial Vehicle (PIV) trainer certification would be an asset.
• Understanding of PSM (Process Safety Management) requirements.
