PAY RANGE:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour Depending on Experience
WORK SCHEDULE:
Flexible schedule between Monday and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. may workup to 19 hours per week.
DRESS CODE:
Casual wear with appropriate coverage
POSITION PURPOSE/ROLE:
Supports the Bookstore and/or supervisor

- Provides quality customer services to all Bookstore customers and visitors by approaching and greeting them and offering assistance
- Performs cashier functions
- Cleans Bookstore area and maintains general cleanliness and stocks shelves
- May perform other like duties
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current FVCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester and
- Previous cashiering experience and
- Ability to work with a minimal level of supervision as well as in a team environment and
- Ability to be self-motivated and
- Ability to consistently provide quality customer service to customers visitors and coworkers and
- Ability to problem-solve and follow directions andbe self-motivatedand
- Possesses a cooperative spirit in working with peers supervisors students and the public

STUDENT EMPLOYMENT GUIDELINES:
- Students must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits for fall or spring semester to qualify for student employment.
- Students may not work beyond 19 hours per week during semester.
- Student workers shall be actively engaged; no use of cell phones (except in case of emergency) or social media.
- Student workers shall demonstrate a commitment to the job with adherence to work schedule effective communication/interpersonal skills and quality customer service skills to be a representative of FVCC.
