Job Summary

Position Title: Commercial Sales Agent NREIG
Reports to: Sales Manager
Position Objective: The Commercial Sales Agent is responsible for supporting clients who are expanding their investment portfolios into commercial real estate. This role receives qualified leads from the internal sales team and works directly with clients to assess their needs present solutions and facilitate commercial insurance placement. When business cannot be bound internally the agent will partner with external carriers or markets to ensure the clients needs are met. The ideal candidate is consultative resourceful and experienced in commercial insurance and real estate insurance sales.
Essential Functions
  • Engage with clients referred to by the internal sales team who are seeking to expand into commercial real estate ventures.
  • Assess clients needs and provide tailored commercial insurance solutions.
  • Present coverage options explain terms and guide clients through the quoting and binding process.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
  • When internal binding is not possible partner with external carriers or markets to secure appropriate coverage.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions quotes and placements in CRM systems.
  • Stay current on commercial insurance trends market conditions and carrier offerings.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and placement goals.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in commercial insurance sales brokerage or real estate investment consulting.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property risks and coverage options.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships and navigate complex transactions.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Insurance license (as required by state or region).
