Lead Software Engineer

Company Overview

An e-commerce fintech digital content and communications company with more than 30000 employees and operations in 30 countries and regions.

Your Role and Responsibilities
We expect this person to plan and design the technical solution communicate with stakeholders and work with the development team to deliver the product.

Understand product needs to define system specifications.

Plan and design the structure of a technology solution.

Communicate system requirements to software development teams.

Evaluate and select appropriate software/hardware and suggest/design integration methods.

Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to team members.

Hands on and assist with solving technical problems when they arise.

Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure .

Experience and Qualifications

At least 10 years of experience in product development.

Experience in leading an engineering team.

Communication skill to keep various stakeholders on the same page.

Proven experience in Architecture design programming languages (Java/JavaScript/HTML) databases(MYSQL MongoDB) frameworks (Spring/Spring boot/jQuery).

Proven experience of troubleshooting and data analysis

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience as Technically working with cross-functional teams.

Familiar with Agile practices.

Familiarity with big data technologies- Hadoop Hive.

Understanding of advertising technologies and solutions.
