Job Description:
Overview:
We are seeking a full-time detail-oriented and experienced individual to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records reconciling accounts and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Reconcile sales taxes payroll taxes 401k and bank accounts
- Monitor financial transactions and reports
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
- Maintain an accurate general ledger
- Prepare financial reports through collection analysis and summarization of data
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Work closely with accountants during audits or tax season
Qualifications:
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero Sage)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Associates degree in Accounting Finance or related field (Bachelors preferred)
