Project/Program: Office of Professional Medical Conduct
Job Description:
This Database Architect position will function as database developer/architect supporting multiple software applications for the DOH Office of Professional Medical Conduct.
Day to Day:
Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
- Analysis and design of database objects and data collection systems including the transformation of legislative requirements into system functionality;
- Data modelling;
- Software development tasks including Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server coding testing and implementation;
- Troubleshooting issues in the application to find solutions;
- Preparation of technical and user documentation.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Database Architect: Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations applications and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities responding to user questions and resolving problems.
Expert: 84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 Months of experience in interpreting physical database models and experience with relational database concepts such as indexes primary and foreign keys and constraints using both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
- 84 Months of experience developing using Oracle PL/SQL including database packages procedures functions and triggers.
- 84 Months of experience in working with Oracle version 11g or later.
- 84 Months of experience in using Oracle programming tools (SQL*Plus SQL*Loader or other Oracle database programming tools).
- 60 Months of experience developing using Microsoft Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
- 60 Months of experience in designing relational databases.
- 24 Months of experience in integrating multiple database schemas.
- 18 Months of experience in using Git
