Job Summary

Work Arrangement

On-Site at Fort Liberty NC with CONUS and OCONUS TDYs up to 120 days. Contractor required to beavailable for immediate recall (1 hours) in case of Command Directives.

Job Overview

The Counterintelligence Analyst is responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting intelligence datato support decision-making and strategic planning. They gather information from various sources suchas open-source intelligence classified databases and field reports and use analytical tools andtechniques to assess the significance and reliability of the information.

Essential Functions

  • Provide timely cogent and relevant advice to improve the CI posture of supported activitiesensure intelligence oversight compliance and accurately document and report CI indicators orconcerns.
  • Coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups assimilate large volumesof information de-conflict information of value between sections and independently producereports.
  • Research create develop and deliver professional multi-media written reports and CI productsat the operational and strategic levels utilizing multiple CI and HUMINT reporting tools; receiveContact Lead and Intelligence Information Reports participate in reviews and respond withcorrective measures as necessary.
  • Manage source data information within the Integrated Defense Source Registration System aswell as participate in Asset Validation Panels and provide accurate in-depth CI reviews of allactive assets.
  • Maintain familiarity with signature reduction training standards and processes assist thecommand in determining the appropriate use of signature reduction techniques and ensure allstandards are met before signature reduction techniques are applied.
  • Develop all-source association matrices on individuals of CI interest.
  • Work independently with no required oversite.
  • Provide advice to the leadership on processes procedures technology and other items ofinterests
  • Responsible for the production of intelligence assessments and products in support of deployedSOF Task Forces to enable the F3EAD targeting cycle.
  • Interface with other intelligence organizations to fully prepare teams for exploitation of enemypersonnel as well as prepare post screening analytical products and assessments supportingtargeting efforts and threat analysis.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Understanding of the F3EAD targeting methodology to include broad knowledge of additionalintelligence disciplines and significant demonstrable experience in their field capable of leadinganalytical efforts culminating in products.
  • Advanced skill sets with the HUMINT Operations Cycle CI Support to HUMINT Operations AssetRisk Assessment System (ARMS) Operational Risk Management Process and Patterns of LifeAnalysis and one or more of the following areas: Human Factors Analysis Human TerrainAnalysis SIGINT Targeting Convergence Analysis and Intelligence training.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of CI theory doctrine rules laws regulations directivessystems concepts methodologies and relevant skills related to full spectrum CI operations.

Education / Certifications

  • High School Diploma Required
  • DOD DoS DHS or equivalent training/course completion preferred.

Experience

  • A minimum of eight (6) years of experience performing counterintelligence related operationswhile serving in a Joint Special Operations Task Force Inter-agency Task Force NationalIntelligence Agency Law Enforcement Agency Joint CI Activity or Combatant Command.
  • No less than eight (6) years of operational analysis experience in their analytical field. Five (5)years of experience in a managerial level position in support of special operations and combatoverseas tours with a SMU and or SOF in an operational environment providing a direct analysissupport function is highly desired.
  • In-depth knowledge of SOF and or CT intelligence experience is highly desirable.

Security Clearance

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI DoD clearance U.S. Citizenship required.
