We are looking for a special kind of person a St Vincents kind of person. Someone who puts compassion connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.
As a Registered Nurse youll be part of an experienced engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincents Care Services Hawthorn.
St Vincents Care Services Hawthorn (locally known as Mary Mackillop Aged Care) is a 91-bed facility located in Hawthorn East just 7km from Melbournes city centre with the added convenience of Camberwell Junction right around the corner.
This is a Part-time position for an experienced RN Grade 2.
Shifts available: Night Duty on Monday Tuesday Wednesday.
Things that work for us:
Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential
Ability to work on a casual basis
Clinical nursing practice experience in an aged care/health care setting
Flexibility to be able to work across morning afternoon and night shifts
High level of customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to follow directives as per care plan
Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
Vaccinated (and up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19
National Police Certificate
NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
