Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Bioinformatics Engineer to join Brigham and Womens Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large complex datasets transforming them into analysis-ready formats and leveraging high-performance computing for machine learning and statistical modeling. This role focuses on developing scalable pipelines to process real-world electronic health records (EHR) and clinical data enabling data-driven discovery in collaboration with clinical and research teamswith the ultimate goal of advancing diagnostic technologies for low- and middle-income countries. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong data analysis or computational experience who is eager to apply those skills to cutting-edge biological and clinical research.Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Masters or PhD in Bioinformatics Computer Science Bioengineering Statistics Mathematics or a related quantitative field

Experience in bioinformatics engineering or other software engineering 1-2 years required
Experience with large-scale data processing and analysis
Understanding of statistical methods and experimental design principles
Proficiency in Python for data transformation analysis and visualization

Familiarity with machine learning tools (scikit-learn PyTorch or TensorFlow)
